Saturday was a bright sunny day, so we used it to explore the city outdoors. We first walked the High Line park, a converted elevated railway, from 23rd st to the Chelsea Market, a converted factory in the Meatpacking District. We got a few snacks and went searching farther downtown for some lunch. We had a lovely late brunch at the Standard Hotel restaurant.
A quick subway trip took us to Battery Park, where we didn't spend a lot of time because of the cold and wind, but Adam took a carousel ride and we took some pictures. Finally, we made our way to Grand Central Station, before heading back to the hotel and a dinner across the street from the hotel.
