Friday, we first visited the Museum of the City of New York, which has exhibits on the history of the city, past and present public art, political women of New York, and an interactive green city planning exhibit. Since that took up a bit more of the day than we were expecting, we went back to the hotel, detouring through the uptown part of Central Park, to wait out rush hour traffic.
Once we'd had some dinner, we caught the subway again down to Times Square and walked up to the Nintendo Store (... for Adam. Totally for Adam). From there, we spent some time wandering around and taking pictures in Rockefeller Center. While there, we took the Top of the Rock tour. I recommend doing one of these top-of-the-city excursions at night, as the view was just amazing.
